The Old Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century building that was originally two cottages but has been converted into a single dwelling. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with some brick facing and is topped with a thatched roof. The cottage is single-storey with an attic and includes casement windows and modern doors, as well as a central stack.
