Description

Box Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with roughcast render and a pantiled roof. It stands two stories tall and has a two-cell plan. The cottage has two windows, with 19th-century casements on the first floor and 20th-century casements on the ground floor. There is a central doorway that contains a mid-20th-century door, and external stacks are present at each gable end. Inside, the cottage retains some exposed timbering, newel stairs, and original floorboards on the first floor.
