Description

Fair Oaks Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It is timber framed and has a roughcast render exterior, with a slated roof at the front and plaintiled at the rear. The building has two storeys and an attic, following a two-cell plan that originally featured a lobby entrance. There are two mid-20th century casement windows and a plank door located on the left-hand side, along with an internal stack. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed framing, particularly on the first floor, where some original doors can still be found, as well as newel stairs.
