Description

This chapel, dating from 1905-6, was designed by Giles Gilbert Scott. It is built in the Decorated Perpendicular style, using red brick with stone dressings. The building comprises a nave and a south-east transept, along with a sacristy tribune and a bellcote bay at the west end. Internally, it features a wooden pointed tunnel vault with transverse ribs. The exterior has tall battered buttresses with numerous offsets, some of which are pedimented.
