Description

This is a row of two mid-19th century pairs of houses, numbered 60 to 66 Shooters Hill Road. Each house is three storeys high with a basement, and features two windows. Each pair has a one-storey entrance extension. The houses are constructed of multicoloured stock brick with stucco dressings, including an entablature and parapet which conceals the roof, a first-floor band, and tall sunk panels that contain the first and second-floor windows. The outer bays of each pair are slightly set back. The ground floor windows of the inner bays are set within rounded projections, supported by wide brick pilasters and a stucco entablature and blocking course. All windows are sash windows, with margin lights or glazing bars, contained within moulded stucco architraves. The windows in the inner bays are three-light.
