Description
The houses at Numbers 18 to 24, along with the attached garden wall, were built in 1908 as part of the Hampstead Garden Suburb. They were designed by Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin, with Charles Wade, an office assistant, likely contributing to the plans. The houses are very similar in design to Numbers 17 to 23, but with some differences. The right-hand side of the central, stilted facing gable at Number 20 has been rebuilt, though matching the original appearance. All the original front doors remain, with the exception of the door at Number 20. These houses are an important part of a larger group that includes Numbers 1 to 59 (odd) and 2 to 52 (even) of Asmuns Place.
