Description
These are a row of six houses, numbered 6 to 16, built in 1908 as part of the Hampstead Garden Suburb. The architects were Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin, although Charles Wade, an office assistant, likely designed them. The houses are similar in appearance and materials to the properties at numbers 5 to 15 on the opposite side of Asmuns Place. The level of the site changes across the row, reversed from the opposite properties. An outshut porch provides entrance to number 16. Original design doors and windows remain on all properties, with the exception of number 6, which has a rear single-storey projection with a hipped roof. The houses are part of a larger group incorporating numbers 1 to 59 (odd) and 2 to 52 (even) on Asmuns Place.
