Description
47 and 49 Hamilton Terrace are a pair of mid-19th century houses located in the City of Westminster. They are constructed of brick and are stuccoed. The buildings are two storeys high with a basement and feature two bays, each with slightly projecting entrance bays on the sides.
Number 47 has double doors with an overlight set within a paired pilaster surround. Number 49 features a porch with a round-arched entrance and angle pilasters. Both houses have sash windows with glazing bars, set in architraves with consoles. There are additional sash windows with glazing bars in architraves located above. The window bays are slightly recessed, and the buildings are topped with a mutule cornice and a blocking course.
