Description

This house on Hamilton Terrace dates from around 1830. It is constructed of yellow brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with stucco dressings. The two-story, three-bay building has a basement and a central entrance reached by steps. The front door consists of double leaves with a divided overlight, set within a pilaster surround. A ground floor band runs horizontally, and 16-pane sash windows are set within architraves, featuring blind boxes and pulvinated friezes. A sill band marks the first floor. Further sash windows of the same design are located above. The building is finished with a cornice and blocking course.
