Description

A pair of houses dating circa 1830, located on Hamilton Terrace in Westminster. They are constructed of yellow brick in Flemish bond, with stucco dressings. The houses are two storeys high, plus a basement. The central section has four bays, with projecting entrance bays flanking the sides. Steps lead to panelled front doors, each with an overlight within a paired pilaster surround. The houses feature sash windows with glazing bars; an iron balcony is present on the ground floor. The first floor has a sill band, and the window to No. 28 also has glazing bars. All windows are topped with flat, gauged brick arches. The building has stucco eaves and a cornice, a blocking course, and a shallow central pediment.
