Description
A pair of houses dating from the early to mid-19th century, located on the north-west side of St John's Wood Road in Westminster. The houses are built of yellow-brown brick with a channelled stucco ground floor and stucco dressings. They are three storeys high with a basement, featuring a four-bay central section flanked by projecting bays and a recessed rounded bay to the right return front. Steps with attached columns lead to the entrances in the side bays, each with a round-arched door and fanlight. The ground floor windows are round-arched sashes with iron balconies. A first-floor iron balcony is present, and the sashes above have glazing bars set within flat, gauged brick arches. A sill band marks the second floor, topped by round-arched sashes with glazing bars. The building culminates in a cornice and shallow pediment at the centre.
