Description

A pair of houses dating circa 1830, located on Hamilton Terrace in London. The houses are constructed of yellow brick in Flemish bond, with stucco dressings. They are two storeys high with a basement. The central four bays form a prominent feature, flanked by projecting entrances. Railed steps lead to panelled front doors, each with an overlight set within a paired pilaster surround. Ground-floor windows are sash windows, with an iron balcony providing additional detail. A sill band marks the first-floor level, and the windows are sash windows. Flat, gauged brick arches are present above all windows. The building has stucco eaves and a cornice, terminating in a blocking course topped by a shallow central pediment.
