Description

This is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, situated on Hamilton Terrace in London. It is constructed of yellow brick laid in Flemish bond, with a channelled stucco finish to the ground floor and stucco dressings. The house is three storeys high, with a basement, and has two bays, accompanied by a single-storey entrance bay on the right-hand side. The main entrance features a panelled door with an overlight, set within a pilaster surround. Elliptical-arched recesses, adorned with stucco imposts, contain sash windows with iron balconies. Above, there are 12-pane sashes in stucco surrounds. A cornice runs along the top of the building. A railed area defines the basement level. The building is listed primarily for its group value.
