21 And 22, Princes Square W2

Nos 21 and 22 Princes Square are a pair of mid-19th century terraced houses located in the City of Westminster. They are constructed of stucco and feature two storeys, an attic, and a basement. Each house is two windows wide and has channelling on the ground floor. They are distinguished by projecting Doric porches and a triglyph frieze at the ground floor level. The first floor includes a balcony, and the windows are square-headed with architraves above the ground floor and cornices on the first and second floors. The windows are sash style, with French casements on the first floor, and they have plate glass. A dentil cornice is present above the third floor, along with a subsidiary cornice at the attic level. The houses also feature cast iron area railings and are an integral part of the planned layout of Princes Square.
