Description
Nos 14 to 16 South Molton Street are terraced houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings, and No 14 is rendered. The buildings have concealed slate roofs and rise to four storeys, with each front featuring three windows. The ground floors have mid to late 20th century shop fronts. The upper floors are adorned with recessed plate glass sash windows from the 19th century; No 14 has moulded architraves on the first and second floors, with keystones on the first floor windows. No 15 features stucco flat arches with triple key blocks above its windows, while No 16 has moulded architraves on the first floor windows, which are topped with console bracketed cornices. No 14 also has a plat band at the third floor. All three fronts are finished with coped parapets. These houses are included in the listing for their group value.
