Description
No 63 South Molton Street is a late 18th-century terrace house located in the City of Westminster. It is constructed of stock brick, with a roof that is concealed by a parapet. The building stands four storeys tall and has a basement, featuring two windows across its front. The entrance is located within the elevation of No 64 and consists of a six-panel door topped by a radial glazed semicircular fanlight, all set in a round-headed Coade-type stone doorcase with vermiculated rustication. The ground floor windows were altered in the mid-20th century, while the upper floors showcase revealed glazing bar sashes beneath flat gauged arches. The parapet is finished with coping, and there are cast iron area railings. Inside, the first floor retains a front room that features late 18th-century plasterwork with rinceaux and husk garland patterns, along with a doorcase that includes a moulded frieze and cornice.
