Description
The Star Tavern is a public house built in the early to mid 19th century. It stands three storeys high, plus an attic, and features three windows across its façade. The building is constructed of brick, with stucco applied to the ground floor. It has a pilastered sub-front and square-headed windows with gauged heads, which contain sash windows with glazing bars. A cornice is present above the second floor, and the words "Star Tavern" are displayed in stucco at the attic level. The interior has not been inspected, and the building is included in the register for its group value.
