Description
The Griffin Inn is a public house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick, painted cream, and features stucco dressings and a slate roof with four brick ridge stacks. The building is two stories high and has a four-window range. The windows are sash style, some of which have glazing bars, and are topped with incised stucco window heads. There is a round-headed central doorway. On the right-hand side, there is a later 19th-century pub front that includes twin four-panel doors with rectangular fan-lights above, flanking a 20th-century replacement window, all beneath a bracketed frieze.
