Description

The General Baptist Meeting House, built in 1828, is a red brick, two-storey building featuring a five-window range front. It has round-headed windows that have been re-glazed with stained glass, set within round-headed recesses. A massive pediment spans the entire facade. There is a 20th-century porch addition at the ground floor. Inside, the meeting house has a gallery on three sides, supported by iron columns. In front of the building, there are wrought iron railings and gates with lanterns.
