Description
Loughborough Masonic Hall is an independent Congregational Chapel, now serving as a Masonic Hall, built in 1828 as indicated on a plaque. The building is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has a window arrangement of 1-2-1. The central projection beneath the pediment includes the date plaque. There is a moulded brick band that runs between the ground and first floors, along with an eaves cornice. The round-headed windows are fitted with glazing bars. The central projection was originally flanked by twin entrances; however, the right-hand entrance is now blocked, and the left-hand entrance has been replaced by a smaller 20th-century door. On the left-hand side elevation, there are three windows. There are extensions to the right-hand side and rear of the building, which are not of architectural interest.
