Description

Nos 42, 43, and 44 on Lowndes Street are a terrace of houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They rise four storeys, plus a roof storey and a basement, with two windows on each level. The buildings are finished in stucco and feature area railings. A continuous iron balcony extends across the first floor, and there is a cill band at the third floor. The terrace is topped with a dentil cornice and has dormers in the roof. Cast iron area railings further enhance the exterior.
