Description

This is a pair of semi-detached houses located on Hill Road in City of Westminster, built in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of yellow brick and stucco, with a slate hipped roof extending to the eaves. They are three storeys high, with a basement level included. Each house has two windows wide, plus a shared central window on each floor. The outer bay of each house is slightly recessed and contains an entrance below an advanced Doric porch with panelled doors. The ground floor features channelled stucco. The windows are square-headed, with gauged brick heads to the upper storeys, and are tripartite in division with small panes of glass. Rusticated brick quoins are present. Cast iron window guards protect the ground and first-floor windows, and cast iron railings lead to the steps.
