Description

Nos 8 and 10, Abercorn Place are a pair of houses dating from around 1840. They are constructed of stucco with slate mansard roofs. The houses are three storeys high, with an attic mansard and a basement. Each house has three bays. No. 10 has an Ionic porch, while the porch to No. 8 is simpler in design. The windows are square-headed, with architraves above the ground floor and cornices to the first floor. They consist of sash windows with glazing bars. A simplified cornice is located above the second floor. The buildings are included in the list solely for their group value.
