Description
Nos 43 and 45 Carlton Hill are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of brick and stucco, with the roof not visible. Each house has three storeys and is two windows wide. The ground floor features channelled stucco and projecting Doric porches at the centre bays. The outer bays have segmental bow windows on the ground floor, topped with a dentil frieze that spans the entire width. Above the ground floor, the windows have square-headed architraves and cornices on the first floor. The sashes, with most glazing bars intact, are complemented by a main cornice above the second floor and a parapet.
