Description

The statue of Queen Anne is located against the north side of Number 15 Queen Anne's Gate in the City of Westminster. It was erected before 1708 during Queen Anne's reign, and the sculptor is unknown. The statue is made of Portland stone and depicts a standing figure in three-quarters view. It is positioned on a high, bow-fronted pedestal that features foliated flanking scrolls and a moulded plinth. Originally, the statue was placed at the center of the west side of the wall that divided Queen Square from Park Street.
