Description

This is a lamp standard numbered 1, dating from around 1910. It is made of cast iron and features a fluted column shaft of the "Eddystone Column" type, topped with a Rochester lantern. This lamp standard is part of a notable series of lamp standards located near Queen Anne's Gate, at the corner where this one stands.
