Description

No. 2 Berkeley Square is a house built around 1900, featuring a narrow front made of Portland stone. It has four storeys and a slate mansard attic, designed in a modified Tudor style. The low ground floor includes pilasters and columns that support a shallow canted bay window, which extends through the second and third floors and is topped with crenellation. The parapet is designed to slope down for a shell hooded dormer in the mansard. There is a cast iron balcony on the first floor and a decorative rainwater head on the left. This building is included for its group value within this closely arranged stone-faced block.
