Description
No. 3 Berkeley Square is a house built in 1896 by H Huntley-Gordon. It features a Bath stone facade and a tiled roof, rising four storeys with a basement and an attic storey beneath a steep gable. The architectural style is free Jacobean with some Renaissance influences. The house has three windows, with a central narrow canted stone bay extending from the ground to the second floor, which includes a doorway adorned with carved figures of putti above it. All windows are arched, except for the rectangular window in the gable. There is a decorative rainwater head, and the basement area is enclosed by a low swept wall with cast iron railings. This property is part of a tightly knit picturesque stone block located at the foot of Hay Hill.
