Description

Byron Villa and Shakspere Villa are a pair of mid-19th century houses located on Battersea Park Road. They each have three storeys and a basement, with a gabled front. Each house is three windows wide, featuring one window on the second floor. The buildings are constructed of stock brick, with stucco applied to the basement. Notable stucco details on the upper floors include a bandcourse above the ground floor, a distinctive scalloped frieze, and a cornice at the gable. The ground and second floors have round-arched openings, while the first floor has segmental openings.
