Description

35 St Matthew's Row is an 18th-century building that was originally a single house but has been divided into three flats. It is constructed of stock brick, with some areas patched, and features a stucco plinth and a coped parapet. The roof is not visible. The building has three storeys and three bays, with all windows being sashes that include glazing bars in exposed frames. There is a round-headed doorway on each side of the ground floor window, both of which retain simple, semi-circular fanlights of different designs. The doorways also have stucco architraves and panelled doors. The west elevation features two windows per storey, while the south elevation is blank. The north elevation has irregular fenestration with one window per storey and a central doorway.

The interior has not been inspected.

The listed buildings in St Matthew's Row are part of a group that includes the Parish Watch House and Wood's Close.
