Description
Westfield Farmhouse is a house, now converted into flats, dating from around 1820 with later 19th-century alterations. The building features a stucco exterior over brick laced flint and has a tiled roof. It is two stories high and has three bays facing the road, along with a three-bay return. The road elevation includes 16-pane sash windows, with a tripartite arrangement on the first floor. All windows have stucco lugged architraves and bracketed sills, and there are vermiculated keystones above the segmental arches. The right bay is blind. The center bay has a small canted dormer with a hipped roof and vermiculated panels beneath. The return elevation features a central bay that is brought forward, showcasing a billeted gable and a painted stone doorcase, with a two-light stone mullioned window above. The right bay has a large gable with a canted and hipped bay on the ground floor, while the left bay has a small shaped gable.
