Description

The Skilling at Rose Cottage is a 18th-century outbuilding located against the road in Aldbourne, West Street. It features a timber frame with sarsen and brick cladding, topped with a thatched roof. The structure consists of two bays, with the left bay now enclosed as a garage while the right bay remains open. The roof is half-hipped. Originally, this building was attached to Corr's Barn to the west, which was rebuilt around 1970 and is not included in this listing. Inside, there are jowled posts that are bracketed to ties, along with raking struts.
