Description
Oak House is a house dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It features colourwashed brick, with the left bay made of stone, and has a tiled roof. The building is two stories high and consists of four bays. The two right bays have a recessed central margin glazed door set in a slender doocase with a cornice above. To the right of the door is a 24-pane shop window, while to the left are 9-pane timber casements. The first floor has 16-pane sash windows alternating with blind panels. The eaves are brick with a dentilled design. The roof is half-hipped on the right side, with a stack located on the left. There is a 19th-century stone extension beyond the stack, which has two narrow bays featuring 16-pane sashes and casement windows, with the brick dentilled eaves continuing through.
