Description

No 9 is a house in a row, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a facade of diaper brick and has a tiled roof. The building is two stories high and has three bays, featuring a central stair hall and is one room deep, with a former outbuilding now serving as a garage lean-to on the left side. The entrance has a six-panel door, with the upper panels being glazed, and is topped by a moulded flat canopy. The windows on the ground floor are 16-pane sashes that have replaced earlier windows and feature segmental heads. The eaves are adorned with offsetting brick dentils. There is a stack on the left gable and another stack located externally to the gable.
