Description

Chantry Cottage is a house located on The Green in Aldbourne, dating from the 16th to 17th century, but it was largely rebuilt in the late 18th century. The building is constructed of brick with a stucco first floor and features a tiled roof. It is two stories high, consisting of two bays and two rooms deep. The central entrance has a four-panelled door that is topped with a bracketed and moulded canopy. The windows include four-pane sashes on the ground floor and six-pane sashes on the first floor. The eaves are adorned with brick dentils, and there is an external gable stack on the right side.
