Description

Nos 13 and 14 on The Green are a pair of cottages that have been combined into one house. They date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and are constructed from sarsen stone with a brick facade and a concrete tiled roof. Each cottage originally had one bay with a side passage located at the center. There is a long rear extension to No. 14 that runs along Back Lane. The cottages feature 19th-century doors with two glazed panels set within a 20th-century joint porch. The ground floor has 6-pane sash windows with segmental heads and a plat band. The left chimney stack is shared with No. 12. This building is included for its group value.
