Description

Bell Court is a house from the 19th century, built with whitewashed sarsen stone and featuring brick dressings and some rendering. It has a tiled roof and is two stories high, with three bays and one room thick, along with extensive outbuildings at the rear. There is a stable door that opens through a passage, and the windows are 12-pane casements with timber lintels. The roof is hipped on the right side, and there is a sarsen pebble forecourt. This house is located on the site of a bell foundry that was operated by Robert Wells starting in 1760. It is included for its group value.
