Description

1A Stothard Place is a building that dates back to the late 17th century but has undergone significant alterations. It stands three stories tall, with its main elevation facing Spital Yard featuring a modern design in a Georgian style. The building is constructed of red brick and has three windows with flat arches made of tile, topped by a parapet. The rear elevation facing Stothard Place has been altered and rendered, and it features a gabled design. A tablet on the north elevation commemorates the birth of Susanna Annesley in 1669, who was the mother of John Wesley.
