Description
Maria Terrace consists of a row of ten, early 19th century, yellow brick terraced cottages located on the north side of the street. The buildings are three storeys high and each has a single window. They have slate roofs. The windows at the top of each building have gabled heads extending above the eaves, featuring bargeboards and finials. All windows are 19th century casements set within stucco frames, which have a curved or coved appearance on their sides. Gothic style doorways are framed by architraves, and each doorway has a heavy, ribbed door. Nos 1 to 10 form a notable group.
