Description
The entrance gates and piers of Dulwich College, located to the east of the main building, date from around 1870. They feature an elaborate wrought-iron double gate with a crested overthrow, supported by two pairs of rusticated brick posts. Each pair of posts flanks and supports a smaller single wrought-iron gate, which is set beneath a round-headed stone archway with an entablature. These gates are part of a group that includes Dulwich Old College and the gate lodge in Dulwich Park, known as Park Lodge.
