Description

Oakfield is a detached house built in 1721, featuring alterations and extensions. The exterior is finished in stucco and topped with a swept, hipped slate roof that has deep eaves. The house stands three storeys high and has five bays, although there are only three windows on the second floor. There are lower, two-storey, hipped roof additions on both the east and west sides. A wooden trellis verandah wraps around three sides of the ground floor. The ground floor includes French windows with margin lights, while the upper floors have sash windows with glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
