Description
The monument to Louisa Schroder is a sarcophagus located in the Dulwich Old Burial Ground, dated 1824. It also commemorates John and Isabella Bustard. The structure is made of stone, featuring tapering corners and inscription panels, and is set on a high base. The sarcophagus is topped by a central boss and surrounded by spearheaded railings. It is marked A on the site plan and is situated in the south-east corner of the burial ground. This burial ground, consecrated in 1616, is notable for not being located next to any church or chapel. The monument is part of a group that includes the 18th-century gates, walls, and railings of Dulwich Old Burial Ground.
