Description
The monument to Anne Flint is a sarcophagus located in Dulwich Old Burial Ground, dated 1807. It is made of stone and sits on a high brick base. The design features tapering and reeded corner pilasters, along with incised inscription panels. The monument is enclosed by railings, which have uprights that terminate in crescent moons. It is marked B on the site plan and is situated on the south verge of the burial ground, south of the Schroder tomb. The burial ground itself was consecrated in 1616 and is notable for being located away from any church or chapel. This monument is part of a group that includes the 18th-century gates, walls, and railings of Dulwich Old Burial Ground.
