Description

This is an 18th-century stone tomb chest located at the south-west corner of the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Bermondsey. It is a good example of an 18th-century standing tomb chest, featuring baluster pilasters at the corners. The inscription is illegible. The tomb is situated near the Rectory forecourt.
