Description
This is a chest tomb from the 18th century, located approximately 15 meters south-southeast of the Church of St Mary Magdalene. It is made of stone and brick, set on a high brick plinth. The tomb features baluster pilasters, fielded side panels, and a heavy ledger slab on top. There is no visible inscription. Several 18th-century individuals are commemorated with tombs mentioned in Lysons' "Environs of London," but it is not possible to identify any specific entries that correspond to this prominent tomb in the churchyard.
