Description

This is an early 19th-century cloth factory located on the east side of Bermondsey Street. It is constructed of brown brick with a stone Tuscan cornice and pediment. The building is four storeys high with a basement and has three bays, featuring a rounded corner leading to a five-bay return. Colossal brick pilasters divide the window bays and support the cornice and pediment. A central entrance is present on the front elevation. The segmental-headed windows have gauged brick arches; those on the ground and third floors include keystones, while all but the third-floor windows have projecting brick panels below. The return side is similar, but incorporates loading bays, a hoist on the third floor, and some round windows. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
