Description
This is an early 19th-century house on Bermondsey Street. It is built of grey brick with a stucco cornice and pediment. The house has two storeys, an attic, and a basement, and presents a three-bay facade. Steps lead up to the central entrance, which features a six-panel door within a stucco doorcase. The doorcase has pilasters supporting an entablature with a frieze and cornice, and a lunette is set in the tympanum. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within gauged, flat brick arches, and have stucco sills. The interior of the house has not been inspected. Number 191 forms a group with the nearby Church of St Mary Magdalene.
