Description

The Hermitage is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It has a rendered exterior and a pitched slate roof with deeply overhanging eaves, which are supported by rustic timber posts that create a verandah at the front. The building has a T-plan layout with a round-ended arm that features a chimney at the rear tip. It is one storey high, with a basement and an attic. There are four windows, with lower wings that extend from the gabled returns. The entrance door is located at the right-hand end of the main block. The cottage has casement windows with leaded lights. The interior has not been inspected.
