Description

This is a pair of houses built in 1793. They have a balanced design, featuring a three-storey-and-basement central section with six windows, and two-storey, two-window wings topped with pediments. The main construction is of brown brick, with stucco detailing including a bracketed cornice and blocking course in the centre. The lower four windows of the central section are round-headed, set within round arched recesses defined by a springing band. Stucco window architraves are present, along with first-floor bands on the wings. There are Doric recessed porches; the one at number 22 has been filled in with glazing.
