Description
45 and 47 Tranquil Vale are mid-18th century buildings, each two storeys high with one window. Number 45 features a hipped tiled roof and a rendered first floor with one sash window, along with a mid-19th century ground floor shop front. Number 47 has a pantiled roof and a weatherboarded first floor, with a sash window set in a moulded wood architrave that includes a wrought iron guard. The ground floor has an early 19th century shop front with glazing bars intact. The rear of these buildings adjoins number 1 Collins Square. Numbers 45 and 47 are part of a group with numbers 1 to 3 Collins Square.
